DENTAL VENEERS IN ROUND ROCK, TX!
Dental Veneers are durable dental restorations that can transform your smile. There are multiple reasons for you to choose Dental veneers, these thin porcelain shells are custom-made to suit your individual needs. This way, we can ensure the color, shape, and size suit your face naturally. Once your custom veneers have been received from a dental laboratory, they are carefully bonded to your teeth.
Composite resin veneers are also commonly used. However, they are not sent out to or created in a dental laboratory. Financially, they cost less to the patient, but they typically don’t have the same long-lasting results as porcelain.

WHY GET PORCELAIN VENEERS?
- Over time, our teeth naturally begin to discolor. Factors such as smoking, coffee, wine, certain food, and simply age all take a toll. Veneers can restore your smile to its original natural white.
- Avoiding braces? Veneers aesthetically improve crooked or misaligned teeth.
- Enhance the appearance of misshapen teeth that have worn over time or chipped due to unfortunate accidents.
- Confidence! This dental restoration will give you a long-lasting smile to be proud of.
THE PROCESS FOR DENTAL VENEERS
The time required for the dental veneer process depends on the type of veneer chosen. Porcelain veneers typically call for two visits to your dentist to complete. Upon your first visit, teeth will be buffed and trimmed down to create room for the incoming veneer. A natural matching shade will be agreed upon by you and your Round Rock dentist, Dr. Yoon, and an impression of your teeth will be taken to be sent out. You will be fitted with a temporary veneer to cover the filled teeth in-between visits.
At your second scheduled visit, the temporary veneer will be removed. Once the patient has approved of the look and feel of the newly received veneer, it will then be bonded. Teeth will then be cleansed before the bonding with liquids designed to aid the cement. Once the bonding cement is placed between the veneer and tooth a high-powered light will be used to harden and set.
Your new veneers require daily maintenance to increase their lifespan. Regular brushing, flossing, and dental visits should occur. Dr. Yoon will be able to answer any questions you have and can provide specific care instructions to follow.
